This past week my family had the opportunity to travel back to Okayama where we lived 3 years ago. As you can imagine, I was really excited to take my camera around many of these places that I remember so well. For one, there were many spots that I never shot and afterward really wished I had! So the opportunity to do that was nice. Also, I’ve grown a lot as a photographer over the last 3 years, so I was excited to go back to some of the places I remembered and had even shot already, but approaching the scene with 3 years more experience under my belt. I’ll have plenty of photos to share in the future, but this is one that was more personal than professional. I took this photo from a path called Kaze No Michi (wind road) in the town of Shimotsui. I worked in this town for a year at a local kindergarten teaching English, and this path is the one I used to get to work almost every day. It was nice to get to spend some time on this path again shooting such a lovely sunset!
